Job summary

CVS Health is offering a US Non-Accredited Foreign Graduate Training opportunity in our pharmacy teams. You will complete a structured internship, under a preceptor, to translate didactic learning into real-world practice, prepare for licensure, and support daily pharmacy operations with a focus on patient care.

Qualifications

• Foreign graduate from a non-US accredited college or school of pharmacy; must be admitted to CVS US Non-Accredited Foreign Graduate Training Program.
• FPGEC certification is required.
• Pharmacist licensure in the state where the position is based within 120 days of internship completion; failure to meet licensure will result in separation.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Attend regular and predictable shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Follow SOPs at each workstation to ensure safety and compliance.
• Provide empathetic patient care and assist with immunizations and services as allowed by state law.
• Counsel patients, obtain medical history when appropriate, and relay information to pharmacists.
• Take telephonic prescriptions from prescribers and clarify prescriptions when allowed by state regulation.
• Assist with inventory and participate in training and coaching of pharmacy staff.
• Support immunization efforts and staffing of offsite clinics when required.

Foreign Graduate from Non-US Accredited College (Pharmacy)
