Meijer Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support customer service, prescription processing, and basic clinical services in our in-store pharmacy. You will assist patients, manage third‑party functions, and help with inventory while working closely with a licensed pharmacist.

Requirements include enrollment in an accredited pharmacy program and a state-specific Pharmacy Intern License. The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and excellent communication in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school and pursuing pharmacy-related education.
• Pharmacy Intern License (state-specific) required or in process.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to accuracy, confidentiality, and patient privacy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and assist patients with product selection.
• Process and fill prescriptions; enter data in pharmacy computer system; handle third-party adjudication.
• Assist with medication pricing and patient counseling at point of sale.
• Support inventory management and supplier coordination.
• Perform health screening tasks and immunizations after proper training and authorization.
• Deliver clinical services under supervision of a pharmacist.
