Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to learn the patient experience by assisting the pharmacist and the pharmacy team in accordance with regulations. You will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and support the delivery of care.

Under supervision, you will engage customers, develop relationships, and participate in inventory management and daily pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a School of Pharmacy program.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist and team in providing patient care and processing prescriptions under supervision.
• Engage customers and patients to deliver a positive pharmacy experience.
• Support inventory management and pharmacy operations per SOPs.
