Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to learn and support the pharmacist and team in delivering patient care in accordance with regulations. You will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and assist in processing prescriptions, contribute to a positive customer experience, and learn policy and procedures.

Basic qualifications include enrollment in a School of Pharmacy, fluency in English, and willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Engages customers and patients, offering assistance to ensure a positive experience.
• Assists pharmacist and team in entering, third party processing, filling, and dispensing prescriptions.
• Supports inventory management and stock maintenance in the Pharmacy Department.
• Reports prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty per policy.
• Learns and applies pharmacy policy and good faith dispensing guidelines.
