Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support the pharmacist and pharmacy team in delivering excellent patient experiences and to assist with processing prescriptions under supervision.

You will learn pharmacy systems, participate in patient counseling and health services, and help maintain inventory and store operations while adhering to regulatory requirements.

Must be enrolled in a School of Pharmacy, fluent in English, and willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist and pharmacy team in processing prescriptions.
• Support entering, third party processing, filling and dispensing prescriptions.
• Provide patient counseling and health services under supervision.
• Report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty promptly.
• Maintain inventory and ensure pharmacy area is clean and organized.
