Job summary

The role involves under supervision of the pharmacist, assisting with prescription entry, dispensing, counseling, and participating in inventory management.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a school of Pharmacy program.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the practice of pharmacy under pharmacist supervision in accordance with state, federal, and company policy.
• Enter, process, and dispense prescriptions per standard procedures.
• Provide patient counseling and care within the state scope of practice for pharmacy interns.
• Report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and follow Quality Improvement procedures.
• Adhere to Good Faith Dispensing practices as per company policy.
• Assist with inventory management and maintain stock levels in the Pharmacy.
