Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to learn and assist in offering premier patient care while supporting the pharmacist and team. You will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, protect policy compliance, and help deliver a distinctive Walgreens experience.

Under supervision, you will assist with entering, third party processing, filling and dispensing prescriptions, patient counseling and health services within state scope.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a Pharmacy school program is required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Assist the pharmacist and pharmacy team in processing prescriptions.
• Provide patient experience and customer service excellence.
• Adhere to state, federal and Walgreens policies and procedures.
• Support inventory management and pharmacy operations under supervision.
• Report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty.
