Job summary

Walgreens in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to learn patient-focused care while supporting the pharmacist and team. You will use pharmacy systems, assist with prescriptions, and help deliver a friendly Walgreens experience.

Under pharmacist supervision, you will participate in patient counseling, health services, and daily operations, while completing required training and maintaining compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a School/Pharmacy program.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist in pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision and adhere to SOPs.
• Process prescriptions and enter data per policy and state/federal guidelines.
• Counsel patients and provide health services within the scope of practice.
• Support inventory management and medication stocking.
• Report prescription errors promptly and follow Good Faith Dispensing policies.
