Job summary

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain Pharm D prior to start.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 90 days of hire.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days.
• Experience with pharmacy systems and regulatory compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medicine usage, side effects, interactions and privacy.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification and medication management.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and efficient workflow of the pharmacy.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy systems and proposes enhancements.
• Processes insurance claims and resolves related issues.
• Supports with inventory management and KPI reviews with leadership.
• Provides immunization and preventive health services as appropriate.
