Walgreens in Shaker Heights, OH is seeking a Pharmacist to provide medication therapy management, immunizations, and comprehensive patient counseling. You will ensure accurate dispensing, review prescriptions, and uphold regulatory and company policies while supporting pharmacy operations and financial performance.

Responsibilities include counseling on drug interactions, managing inventory, assisting with workflow, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree prior to the start date.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure in the district within required timelines.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Counsels patients and answers questions regarding usage of medicine, side effects, interactions, and privacy; refers to providers as needed.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management; dispenses prescribed medications as workload requires.
• Ensures the pharmacy operates in accordance to regulations, policies and standards; assists with establishing procedures to promote efficient workflow.
