Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to learn how to provide the best patient experience by assisting the pharmacist and pharmacy team, in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Under supervision, you will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions, while developing knowledge of policy, procedures and customer service best practices.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a school of Pharmacy program.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Learn to provide the best patient experience by assisting the pharmacist and pharmacy team in accordance with regulations.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Engage with customers to deliver a distinctive and delightful Walgreens service experience.
• Assist in pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision and comply with codes of conduct.
