Responsibilities

• Counsels patients and answers questions regarding usage of medicine, side effects, interactions and OTC options.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification and medication management.
• Ensures the pharmacy operates in accordance with regulations and company policies, including opening/closing and shift duties.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy systems and supports productivity improvements.
• Follows up with providers and insurers to resolve issues and ensure proper payment.
