Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from accredited University outside the United States.
• FPGEC certification is required.
• Intern permit/certificate as required by the Board of Pharmacy; if not required, respond accordingly.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 45 days of intern hours completion.
• Certified Immunizer or willingness to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on proper usage, side effects, interactions, contraindications and privacy.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Reviews, interprets and dispenses prescribed meds accurately per workload and regulations.
• Ensures pharmacy operations comply with regulations, policies and standards; assists in optimizing workflow.
• Maintains proficiency with pharmacy systems and supports staff; assists with insurance claims and 3rd party audits.
• Promotes community outreach and Well Experience initiatives in coordination with management.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from accredited University outside the United States

FPGEC (Foreign Pharmacist Graduate Equivalency Certificate)

Intern permit/certificate (Board of Pharmacy)

Willingness to obtain licensure within 45 days
