Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited educational institution prior to the start date in position.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure from the respective Board of Pharmacy in the states within the district within 90 days of hire per district guidelines.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides pharmacy consulting and dispensation of prescribed medications.
• Counsels patients on usage, side effects, interactions, and safety.
• Performs immunizations and diabetes awareness and other preventive healthcare services.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy systems and processes to support customers and staff.
• Ensures compliance with Good Faith dispensing and regulatory requirements.
• Supports pharmacy manager in workflow optimization and inventory management.
• Develops relationships with local medical community to promote growth.
• Engages in community outreach and Well Experience initiatives.
