Responsibilities

Counsels patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions, and privacy.
Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
Ensures regulatory compliance and efficient workflow; assists with opening/closing and shift changes.
Maintains pharmacy IT systems and supports staff; proposes enhancements to pharmacy systems.
Processes insurance claims and follows up with providers to prevent denials.
Provides immunizations and preventive health services (e.g., flu shots, diabetes awareness).
Builds relationships with local healthcare providers and participates in community outreach.
