Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a post-graduate pharmacist activity participant under direct supervision to fulfill state requirements and provide medication consulting. You will assist in compounding, dispensing, review, and verification while supporting workflow and improving patient experience in a Walgreens location.

The role includes immunizations and preventive care services, patient counseling, and collaboration with the Pharmacy Manager to optimize operations and pharmacy financials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from accredited University outside the United States
• FPGEC certification
• Intern permit/certificate issued by the respective Board of Pharmacy
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 45 days
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on usage, side effects, interactions and safety.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding and drug therapy reviews.
• Reviews, interprets and dispenses prescribed medications accurately.
• Ensures compliance with regulations and company policies; supports workflow and asset protection.
• Participates in immunizations and preventive healthcare services.
• Maintains relationships with local medical community and supports growth.
