Job summary

CVS Health in Lackawanna County, PA invites a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join our retail pharmacy team under licensed pharmacist supervision, delivering safe, patient-centered care. You’ll contribute to patient safety, regulatory compliance, workflow and inventory management while engaging customers and advancing your professional growth in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe.
• Ability to attend regular shifts including nights and weekends.
• Able to lift up to 20 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead with Heart and provide empathetic, patient-centered care.
• Support pharmacy operations including inventory management and workflow.
• Ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance in the retail pharmacy.
• Deliver quality customer service and professional practice.
