Job summary

CVS Health in Edinboro, PA seeks a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning to real-world practice, supporting pharmacy teams to deliver safe, accurate prescription services and caring patient experiences.

Under a preceptor, you will follow SOPs, assist with immunizations and patient counseling when appropriate, and participate in store operations while expanding clinical and technical knowledge.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to support pharmacists and technicians in daily workflow.
• Assist with prescription fulfillment and accurate labeling.
• Counsel patients under supervision to ensure understanding and safety.
• Take telephonic prescriptions and clarifications when allowed by state law.
• Support inventory activities and maintain patient privacy and safety.
