Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join our pharmacy team. You will work under a licensed pharmacist to deliver safe, effective care and support patient health initiatives in a retail setting.

Your responsibilities include patient safety, regulatory compliance, inventory and workflow management, and providing excellent service to patients. This part-time internship requires active enrollment in an ACPE-accredited program and will involve weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern/technician licensure as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Support the pharmacy team under licensed pharmacist supervision.
• Assist with patient safety, regulatory compliance and quality assurance.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle inventory/workflow management.
• Contribute to a team culture with empathy, collaboration and care for patients.
