Job summary

CVS Health in Raleigh, NC is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join our pharmacy team part-time. Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will help ensure safe, patient-centered care and support daily operations in our retail pharmacy.

You\'ll participate in patient safety, regulatory compliance, inventory and workflow management, and provide excellent customer service while developing your professional skills in a real-world health care setting.

Qualifications

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• 0-3 years relevant work experience
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe

Responsibilities

• Lead with Heart – display empathy and compassion for patients and colleagues
• Support pharmacy operations and patient care under licensed pharmacist supervision
• Assist with regulatory requirements and quality assurance
• Ensure accurate inventory management and workflow processes
• Provide excellent customer service and health care information
