Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern for a part-time role in Smithfield, North Carolina. You will work under a licensed pharmacist to support patient care, safety, and daily pharmacy operations within a busy retail setting.

The position emphasizes patient service, regulatory compliance, and teamwork. Candidates must be enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy and meet licensure requirements, with availability for nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern/technician licensure
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe

Responsibilities

Work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist in a Retail Pharmacy environment
Provide patient-focused services and support quality assurance
Ensure regulatory compliance and inventory management
Deliver excellent customer service and assist with workflow management
As needed, participate in immunization eligibility and clinical programs
