Job summary

CVS Health in Wilmington, NC is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join the pharmacy team and support patient care under supervision. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and service excellence as you gain hands-on experience in a retail pharmacy setting.

You’ll collaborate with licensed pharmacists to deliver compassionate care, manage inventory, and participate in training to meet state guidelines while maintaining flexible weekend attendance.

Qualifications

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Lead with Heart by delivering compassionate patient care and supporting the pharmacy team.
• Ensure patient safety, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance.
• Assist with inventory management, workflow, and customer service.
• Provide essential clinical support under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
