Job summary

Kroger's King Soopers pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacists, counsel customers on medications, and help with OTC recommendations. You will participate inPrescription processing, patient interactions, and ensuring a safe, welcoming pharmacy environment.

Minimum qualifications include active enrollment in a US pharmacy program and a current Pharmacy Intern license. This internship offers exposure across the pharmacy team within a large Kroger family network.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a US school of pharmacy.
• Hold a current state issued Pharmacy Intern license.

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Answer questions regarding products within the department and throughout the store to help customers feel welcome and informed.
• Provide drug counseling to customers and assist with OTC medication recommendations.
• Input patient and prescription information accurately into the pharmacy computer system; dispense medications as prescribed.
