King Soopers, a Kroger family company in Colorado, is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to assist the pharmacy team in delivering safe and compassionate care. You will gain hands-on experience counselling patients, processing prescriptions and insurance information while working under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Minimum requirements include enrollment in a US pharmacy program and a current Pharmacy Intern license.

Formación

• Actively enrolled in a US school of pharmacy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to counsel patients and discuss medications.

Responsabilidades

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Answer customer questions regarding products and services.
• Provide drug counseling to customers.
• Assist with over the counter medications recommendations.
• Input patient and prescription information into the pharmacy computer system.
• Dispense the correct medication.
• Contact prescribers’ offices for authorization.
• Process third party insurance information for customers.
