Job summary

CVS Health in Florida is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice within our pharmacy team across a store network.

Under a preceptor, you will complete a training roadmap, gain hands-on experience, assist with prescription fulfillment, patient counseling, immunizations where allowed, and prepare for a future Pharmacist role. This is a store-based internship with meaningful patient care exposure.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to support Pharmacists and Technicians in patient health
• Process prescriptions safely and accurately
• Counsel patients and handle medical questions under supervision
• Assist with immunizations and point-of-care testing where allowed
• Support inventory activities and store operations
• Provide coaching and mentoring to pharmacy team members
• Travel to stores in the market to support shifts as needed
