Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Pharmacy Student/Intern for an on-site role in Indianapolis, IN. You will assist the pharmacist, support workflow, and help with MTM services while complying with HIPAA and safety guidelines.

Candidates must be enrolled in a pharmacy school program, able to obtain intern registration, and capable of CPR certification. 1 year of retail experience is preferred, with opportunities to train and grow within the Kroger pharmacy team.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail experience.
• Completion of national and/or state intern registration, certification or licensure depending upon state requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school program; certified or ability to be certified in immunizations.
• National or State Intern Registration.
• Maintain a current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in daily operations and pharmacy oversight.
• Support workflow and delegate station rotation during shifts.
• Enter patient information accurately and perform post-fill audits.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and safety procedures at all times.
• Provide training support for pharmacy associates and coach new technicians.
