Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support the Glendale store pharmacy team. You will assist with medication dispensing, counseling customers, and processing prescriptions under the pharmacist’s supervision.

Qualifications

Actively enrolled in a US school of pharmacy.
Hold a current state issued Pharmacy Intern license.
Ability to provide drug counseling and assist customers.

Responsibilities

Promote trust and respect among associates.
Assist customers with questions regarding products and pharmacy services.
Provide drug counseling to customers and discuss OTC recommendations.
Input patient and prescription information accurately into the pharmacy system.
Dispense medications and contact prescribers for authorization when needed.
Process third-party insurance information and assist with billing.
Adhere to safety, confidentiality and quality assurance standards.
Maintain a clean, safe department and support immunization services under supervision.
