Job summary

CVS Health in the United States seeks 3rd year Pharmacy Interns to join our pharmacy teams in retail locations, supporting patient care while preparing for increasing responsibility. You will complete a comprehensive training roadmap, follow SOPs, assist with immunizations, prescription fulfillment, counseling, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires enrollment in ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy and intern licensure.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on KLEs and increasing responsibility.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Counsel patients, collect medical history information, and assist with immunizations under supervision.
• Assist with telephonic prescriptions, physician communications, and prescription clarifications.
