Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world pharmacy settings within our retail stores. You will follow a comprehensive 120-day training roadmap under a preceptor and District Leader to deepen understanding of store, district, and region operations while ensuring safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.

You will learn to operate under SOPs, demonstrate empathy in customer interactions, and contribute to a safe, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task, pivot quickly between tasks, ensure label accuracy and patient safety
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: assist patients and collaborate with staff
• Communication Skills: verbal and written communication with patients and colleagues
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate dosage, days supply, and inventory needs
• Problem Resolution: handle challenging patient or colleague interactions
• Physical Demands: mobility, lifting, reaching, and visual requirements
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager
