Job summary

CVS Health invites applications for a Graduate Pharmacy Intern in our retail pharmacies. You will apply your didactic learning to real-world practice under a preceptor and district leader, completing a 120-day training roadmap and contributing to safe, accurate dispensing and patient care.

Responsibilities include supporting pharmacy operations, immunizations where lawful, and providing empathetic service while learning to transition toward Pharmacist responsibilities within a supportive CVS

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Concentrate on a task and pivot quickly to meet patient and business needs.
• Confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Demonstrate empathy and provide caring service to patients.
