Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in a real-world setting within our pharmacy operations. You will train under a preceptor and district leadership to complete a 120‑day development roadmap focused on patient safety, drug utilization review, and adherence to SOPs.

You will support the team with dispensing accuracy, patient counseling, and immunization services where allowed by state law, while preparing for increased responsibility as readiness grows.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program before starting the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within state guidelines; failure to obtain licensure within 120 days may lead to separation.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy operations to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely and accurately.
• Assist with immunizations and patient counseling where permitted by state law and training.
• Follow SOPs and ensure patient safety, privacy, and compliance with regulations.
