Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to translate school didactic learning into real-world pharmacy practice within CVS Retail locations. Under supervision, you will complete a comprehensive 120-day training roadmap and support pharmacists and technicians to ensure safe, accurate, and compassionate patient care.

You will learn to operate within SOPs, contribute to patient safety, and progressively take on greater accountability as tenure increases, including immunizations

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program before beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines. Failure to obtain required Pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation will result in separation of employment.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Demonstrates empathy and genuine care to patients and teammates while following SOPs and ensuring safety
• Completing basic inventory activities and supporting pharmacy operations as directed
• Delivering additional patient health care services (e.g., immunizations, point-of-care testing) where lawful and trained
