Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply your pharmacy education in a real-world setting within our stores. Under a preceptor, you will complete a 120-day training roadmap to deepen your knowledge of store operations, patient safety, DUR, and pharmacy standards while delivering caring service.

You will support the pharmacy team to fill prescriptions accurately, counsel patients, learn immunization processes where allowed, and travel to market stores as needed.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the specified timeframe.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Provide compassionate customer service and counseling.
• Adhere to SOPs and legal requirements.
• Support immunizations and point-of-care testing when allowed.
• Voluntarily travel to stores in the market to work shifts as needed.
