Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to join our pharmacy team. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a pharmacist preceptor, completing a 120-day training roadmap focused on store operations, patient safety, and drug utilization review.

As you progress, you will support patient care, immunizations where allowed, and daily pharmacy workflows, with opportunities to grow toward a Pharmacist role and develop leadership skills within CVS Health.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to starting the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within state guidelines within 120 days of graduation.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Assist with patient counseling, immunizations, and safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and privacy in daily pharmacy operations.
• Support pharmacists and technicians with workflow and customer service responsibilities.
