Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree before start date.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 90 days of hire.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients and answers questions regarding usage, side effects, interactions, contraindications, patient information privacy, generics, less expensive medicines, OTC products, and refers to medical provider as needed to ensure correct med use and satisfaction with service.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management; reviews and dispenses prescribed meds as workload requires.
• Ensures pharmacy operates in accordance with regulations, company policies and standards; assists in establishing procedures to promote efficient workflow and inventory management.
