Job summary

CVS Health offers challenging opportunities for Pharmacy Interns to learn and grow while supporting pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescriptions and caring service. As a 3rd year intern, you’ll follow a structured training roadmap and gain hands-on experience across store operations, under the guidance of a licensed pharmacist.

You will learn SOPs, patient communication, and participate in immunization activities.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Ability to follow SOPs and maintain patient safety and privacy.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists and technicians.
• Assist during prescription fulfillment and customer service at pick-up, drive-thru, and phone.
• Counsel patients when appropriate under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Support immunizations and point-of-care testing within allowed regulations.
• Assist with inventory and pharmacy operations as directed by leadership.
• Deliver high-quality patient care and maintain a safe, inclusive environment.
