Job summary

CVS Health in the United States offers a Graduate Pharmacy Intern program that blends classroom learning with real-world practice. Under supervision, you will complete a comprehensive 120-day training roadmap while supporting pharmacy teams to ensure safe, timely, and compassionate patient care.

You will learn to uphold patient safety, perform DUR reviews, follow SOPs, and develop professional standards while preparing for increased responsibilities as licensure progresses.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program and eligible for licensure.
• Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure within state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Attend regularly, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within the designated timeframe.
• Support pharmacy operations: ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and empathetic service.
• Counsel patients and respond to questions under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Demonstrate clear communication and mathematical reasoning for dispensing and inventory tasks.
• Perform physical demands and maintain safety and privacy in a fast-paced retail setting.
