Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply your didactic learning in real-world practice within our pharmacy teams. Under the guidance of your preceptor, you will complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation to prepare for a Pharmacist role.

You will help ensure safe, accurate prescriptions, follow SOPs, and contribute to patient experiences with empathy. As readiness increases, you will take on greater responsibilities in store operations, while

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately
• Follow SOPs and improve patient safety and service
• Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care
• Offer to counsel, field medical questions, and collect patient history as appropriate under supervision
• Maintain inventory activities and assist with cycle counts and returns-to-stocks
