Job summary

CVS Health’s Graduate Pharmacy Intern program blends didactic learning with hands-on practice in a retail pharmacy, delivering a structured 120‑day training roadmap to prepare for pharmacist responsibilities. Under a preceptor and district support, you’ll gain patient safety, DUR, and SOP proficiency while delivering compassionate, accurate prescription service.

As you advance, you’ll assist with immunizations, counseling, inventory, and store operations, traveling across the market as needed.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Perform training and SOP adherence, and support pharmacy operations under supervision.
• Assist with immunizations, patient counseling, and medication verification as part of pharmacist team.
