Mount Carmel Health System in Grove City, OH is seeking a Pharmacy Intern (PRN/Casual) for a part-time, rotating shift. The intern will support pharmacists with dispensing, compounding, inventory, and use of automated pharmacy technology under supervision.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in PharmD, possess a valid Ohio Pharmacy Intern License or eligible, and demonstrate strong communication and patient-care skills to deliver safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited PharmD program.
• Possess a valid Ohio Pharmacy Intern License or be eligible to obtain one prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with dispensing, compounding, and medication histories under supervision.
• Prepare intravenous admixtures and sterile products using proper aseptic technique.
• Maintain inventory and support automated dispensing systems.
• Provide drug information to patients and healthcare staff as needed.
• Contribute to clinical duties such as dosing and monitoring under a pharmacist preceptor.
