OhioHealth Corporation in Ohio is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support the Pharmacy department under licensed pharmacists. The role involves obtaining, preparing, labeling products; reviewing orders; billing and inventory documentation; maintaining stock; and communicating with healthcare professionals and patients.

Active enrollment in a College of Pharmacy and an Ohio Pharmacy Intern License are required; high school diploma also required. Training and supervision provided.

Formación

• Must be actively enrolled in a College of Pharmacy.
• Must have an active Ohio Pharmacy Intern License.
• High School Diploma or GED (Required).
• Interns pursuing pharmacist licensure under NABP requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Obtain, prepare, and label pharmacy products for final distribution.
• Review and interpret orders; perform interventions under supervision.
• Produce billing, monitoring, and usage documentation for billing and inventory.
• Maintain sufficient inventory to enable efficient distribution.
• Provide information to healthcare professionals and customers by phone or in person.
• Submit medication charge data to ensure proper reimbursement.
• Assist in training technicians, externs, and interns in technical duties.
• Participate in special projects as needed.
