OhioHealth in Ohio is seeking a Pharmacy Intern willing to work under licensed pharmacists. Enrolled in a PharmD program with an active Pharmacy Intern license, you will assist in preparing and labeling products, review orders, and support patient care in the Retail Pharmacy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Registration with The State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Intern

Responsabilités

• 25% Obtain, prepare, and label pharmacy products according to department policy for final distribution.
• 15% Under the direction of a registered pharmacist, review and interpret orders for pharmacy products needed for patient care, perform any necessary interventions, and process according to department policy and procedure.
• 15% Produce billing, monitoring, and usage documentation of pharmacy products for proper billing and inventory purposes.
• 5% Maintain sufficient inventory of pharmacy products to enable efficient distribution.
• 10% Provide information via phone/in person to other healthcare professionals and/or customers.
• 5% Submit medication charge data to assure proper reimbursement.
• 5% May assist in training technicians, externs and interns in technical aspects of duties.
• 5% Participate in special projects when necessary.
