Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams in Lomita, CA. You will apply school learnings to real-world practice under a licensed pharmacist, contribute to safe prescription fulfillment, and participate in immunizations and patient care where allowed by state law.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• 1+ year of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Provide compassionate patient service, counseling, and escalation as needed.
• Follow SOPs and drive safe, compliant operations across workflow at production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off.
