Job summary

CVS Health Corporation in Waco, TX invites applications for a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern. This on-site, part-time program lets you apply classroom learning to real-world pharmacy settings under a licensed pharmacist, gaining hands-on experience with prescriptions, patient care, and SOP adherence.

You will develop skills across customer service, immunizations, inventory tasks, and cross-store collaboration while following federal/state laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
• Ability to become immunization certified and provide vaccines when allowed by state regulations

Responsibilities

• Attend to patients with empathy and accurate prescription fulfillment under supervision
• Participate in immunization services and point-of-care testing where allowed
• Assist pharmacy team with inventory tasks, ordering, and cycle counts
• Maintain SOP adherence and high level of customer service at all times
• Support cross-store collaboration and flexible scheduling across the market
