Job summary

CVS Health in Bowling Green, OH is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning to real-world practice within our pharmacy team. You will support prescription fulfillment, engage with patients with empathy, and learn SOPs while contributing to a safe, efficient operation.

Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap, gain exposure to store, district, and regional operations, and may travel to market stores to cover shifts as

Qualifications

ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy enrollment or acceptance.
Possess, or be in the process of obtaining, required intern and/or technician licensure.

Responsibilities

Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
Assist pharmacists and technicians to support patient care and service excellence.
Counsel patients when appropriate and maintain patient privacy and data security.
Assist with immunizations, checkups, and offsite clinic support as allowed.
Maintain inventory accuracy and participate in cycle counts and storage responsibilities.
Be flexible with scheduling and travel to stores as needed to meet business needs.
