Job summary

CVS Health in Somerset, NJ invites a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply your didactic learning to real-world practice under supervision, gaining hands-on experience across pharmacy operations, patient interactions, and store leadership exposure.

You will follow SOPs, assist with immunizations and counseling, and develop readiness for Pharmacist roles while advancing your clinical and technical knowledge within a supportive CVS Health team.

Qualifications

• ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy with active enrollment or acceptance.
• Must have intern or technician licensure in process or possessed.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure efficient, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Counsel patients and answer medical questions under pharmacist supervision.
• Handle immunizations and point-of-care services where allowed by state.
• Maintain SOPs, inventory, and pharmacy operations following policy and law.
• Provide empathetic customer service and accurate recordkeeping.
