Job summary

CVS Health in Aurora, CO is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning to real-world practice within our pharmacy team. You will follow a comprehensive training roadmap, work under a licensed pharmacist, and support operations to fill prescriptions promptly and accurately while delivering caring service.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, assisting with immunizations and other services where allowed, and growing clinical and technical knowledge through hands-on

Qualifications

• Enrolled in ACPE-accredited college/school of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time.
• Ability to pivot quickly between tasks and meet patient and business needs.
• Ability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy for patient safety.
• Actively look for ways to help people in a friendly manner.
• Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Possess mathematical reasoning to dispense medications and calculate supplies.
