Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support our pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate prescriptions and compassionate patient care in a retail setting. You will learn under a licensed pharmacist, gain hands-on experience, and prepare for increased responsibilities.

You will participate in immunizations, patient counseling, and a range of pharmacy operations while adhering to SOPs and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Valid intern and/or technician licensure in progress or possession.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations and accurate prescriptions.
• Counsel patients and address medical questions under supervision.
• Take telephonic prescriptions and clarify with prescriber where allowed by state/regulation.
• Perform basic inventory tasks and cycle counts as directed by leadership.
• Deliver immunizations and other patient health services where allowed by law and training.
