Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world patient care within CVS Pharmacy stores. You will work under a licensed pharmacist, completing a detailed training roadmap and gaining hands-on experience across workflow, immunizations, counseling, and safety procedures.

You will learn to follow SOPs, assist with prescriptions, and provide compassionate service while maintaining patient privacy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in ACPE-accredited college/school of pharmacy.
• Must obtain intern/technician licensure as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap with KLEs and increasing responsibilities.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure accurate and timely prescription fulfillment.
• Follow SOPs and ensure patient safety and privacy.
• Counsel patients and obtain relevant medical history when appropriate.
• Support immunizations and point-of-care testing as allowed by state law.
• Travel to stores in the market to cover shifts as needed.
