Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Pharmacy Intern at the Mason Service Center in Ohio. This entry-level role supports clinical pharmacists with interdisciplinary rounds, medication histories, counseling, and patient education.

The intern will participate in education experiences, serve as a preceptor for student pharmacists, and engage in scholarship under supervision. Requires current enrollment in a College of Pharmacy and active intern licensure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited College of Pharmacy with an active board of pharmacy intern licensure is required.
• Pharmacy intern licensure – State Board of Pharmacy is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform medication history interviews, first dose teaching, counseling, discharge counseling, and education.
• Counsel patients on prescribed medications and devices.
• Monitor therapies by reviewing labs and ensuring regimens align with guidelines.
• Develop and communicate therapeutic plans and resolve drug-related problems with the health care team.
• Provide drug information to health care providers and answer queries.
